Pre-treatment preparation
Before your lip filler
- No dental cleanings 2 weeks before AND after treatment.
- Please wait 4 weeks after any vaccination.
- No surgeries within 4 weeks of procedure.
- No antibiotics within 2 weeks of service.
- No steroid medications within 2 weeks.
- It is recommended to discontinue the use of Aspirin, Motrin, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, or any other essential fatty acids at least 3 days to 1 week before AND after treatment to minimize bruising or bleeding.
- Please consult with your primary physician prior to discontinuing any medications.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, Niacin supplements, high-sodium foods, high sugar foods, refined carbohydrates, spicy foods, and cigarettes 24-48 hours before AND after your treatment (all of these factors may increase risk of bruising and swelling).
- If you have a special event or vacation coming up, please keep in mind that you may want to schedule your treatment at least 2 weeks in advance.
- If you develop a cold/flu, cold sore, blemish, or rash, etc. in the area to be treated prior to your appointment, we recommend that you please reschedule your appointment until it resolves.
- It is recommended that you wait at least 2 weeks before AND after botulinum toxin or filler treatments for other cosmetic treatments with laser, ultrasound, peels, facials or micro-derm.
- It's recommended to discontinue Retin-A for 3 days before AND after treatment to avoid increased redness/irritation.
- Ensure your skin is clean without lotion, oil, makeup, powder, perfume or sunscreen on the day of treatment.
Aftercare
After your lip filler
- Do not lie down flat or touch, rub the treatment area for at least 2 hours post treatment.
- Filler is moldable for 1 week post treatment, sleep on your back, if possible, to avoid movement of product.
- Try to avoid wearing makeup, hats or helmets for 24 hours post treatment to allow the site to heal.
- Clients should not schedule any vaccination or invasive procedures for 2 weeks before or after treatment with Dermal Fillers. These include but are not limited to:
- COVID vaccine or Flu Vaccine
- Dental cleaning or dental work
- Surgery of any kind, including lesion excision or biopsy
- Tattoo or permanent makeup
- Bruising, soreness and swelling are all common post treatment and are self-resolving.
- Post Midface/Cheek injections, avoid submerging your head under water for 24 hours post treatment.
- Please report immediately if you have increased pain, swelling, redness or blisters following treatment.
- Ice the filler treatment area 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off as needed for 24 hours post treatment.
- If you experience any vision changes post filler treatment, please report to the nearest Urgent Care/ED.

Before you book
APPOINTMENT policies
Cancellations
All appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Any cancelation or rescheduling after that will result in a cancelation fee.
Late Shows and No Shows
Everyday Beauty has a strict 10 minute late policy. If you are more than 10 minutes late, it will be treated as a no-show, and we will have to reschedule. No-shows will not be allowed to book again until 50% of the service has been paid.
Deposits
Service deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you cancel your appointment, you forfeit your deposit.
Pets, Kids, and Additional Guests
We do not allow pets, kids, or any additional guests during your appointment.
