What injectables actually do
There are two broad categories, and they solve different problems. Who it is for
Injectables suit adults who are seeing early to moderate signs of aging and want a low downtime option. They are a strong fit if you are bothered by lines that appear when you move your face, if your cheeks or lips have lost fullness, or if makeup is starting to settle into creases. They are not the right tool for skin texture, sun damage, or laxity, those respond better to RF microneedling or IPL, and we will point you there instead if that is what your skin actually needs.
What to expect at your appointment
Your first visit starts with a consultation and a facial assessment, not a needle. We map what is happening in your face, discuss what you want to change, and agree on a conservative starting dose. Plan on about forty five minutes for the visit. Most clients describe the sensation as a series of brief pinches. You can return to work the same day. Wrinkle relaxer results begin appearing in three to five days and settle fully by two weeks, filler results are visible immediately and refine as swelling resolves.
Aftercare
Stay upright for four hours and skip strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot yoga for the rest of the day. Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area. Mild redness, small bumps, or pinpoint bruising at injection sites is normal and typically resolves within a few days. Hold off on facials, microneedling, and laser treatments in the treated area for two weeks. We schedule a follow up at the two week mark to review your result and adjust if needed.
Pricing
Neurotoxin is $11 to $12 per unit depending on which product is used, so your total depends on the number of units your treatment plan calls for. Booking online takes a $1.00 card authorization to hold your appointment, it is not the cost of your treatment. When you come in we agree on how many units you want, you get an exact quote before anything is injected, and you pay after your appointment. Appointments run about 45 minutes. Dermal filler is priced per syringe and quoted at your consultation.
