What happens at your appointments

Your first visit is a consultation and your first treatment together. We look at your skin under magnification, go through your current products, your history, and factors like diet, medication, and stress, then build your plan. Treatments are customized each visit and may include deep cleansing, enzyme or chemical exfoliation, extractions, and targeted actives. There is no downtime beyond some flushing for a few hours. You leave with a home routine, and that routine matters as much as the appointments.

The home care half of it

This is the part people skip, and it is the part that determines whether you clear. Your at home products do the daily work between visits, and we change them as your skin builds tolerance to actives. That progression is deliberate, moving too fast triggers irritation that looks exactly like more acne. Expect a purge phase in the first few weeks as congestion already forming under the surface comes up, it is a sign the routine is working, not failing. Daily SPF is mandatory, particularly here, because Arizona sun darkens the marks acne leaves behind.

After you clear: texture and scarring

Two things often remain once active acne is controlled. Dark marks, the flat brown or red spots left where a breakout was, usually fade on their own over months and fade faster with the right actives and strict sun protection. True scarring, the indented kind you can feel, does not fade on its own and needs collagen remodeling, which is where RF microneedling comes in. We treat active acne first and address scarring after, never at the same time, because resurfacing skin with active breakouts spreads bacteria and risks making things worse.
