Shave the shoulder area the day before your appointment. If not shaved, your appointment may be canceled and a fee may apply

Do not wax, tweeze, or use depilatory creams for at least 4 weeks before and during your laser series

Avoid tanning, self-tanners, and sun exposure for 2 weeks before and after your session

Discontinue retinoids, hydroquinone, or exfoliating products 2–3 days prior

Inform your provider of any sun-sensitive medications you are taking

Avoid injectables in the area for at least 2 weeks prior
